"Great Way to Enjoy St. Augustine, but avoid David - the trolley driver."

By riding the trolley you will reduce your walking, because there is so much to see and do in St. Augustine. If that isn't enough incentive, then ride it so that you can get discounted tickets to some of the major museums. I did get discounts at the trolley station for the Flagler College tour. You can also order trolley tickets online and the two day package is a very good value - it includes complimentary shuttle to Anastasia Island (lighthouse museum, beach, alligator farm). 99% of the trolley staff is friendly and I recommend this service. Except trolley driver David (wears a pony tail) who scolded three different tourists riding his trolley in a matter of 15 minutes. This man is disgruntle and has no place in the tourism business. If you want a pleasant ride avoid riding his trolley or he will yelled at you in front of everybody with his microphone. David is the only reason I deducted 1 star from my review.

"Good way to see the highpoints and get a little history of the town"

St. Augustine is a very walkable town and you could probably see most of the sights on foot. The real value in the Trolley Tour is the guide's presentation as you drive through the town. One of our guides (Scooter) was tremendous! I would recommend starting the tour in the morning - it seems to be less crowded. I did a two day ticket (not necessary unless you don't like to walk) and on the second day (Saturday) we took the tour in the afternoon. By 3 pm the trolleys were filling up and many people had to wait for another trolley to board. The company responded quickly, however, and our guide radioed to the main office and they sent a supplemental trolley directly to the stops with overflow patrons. Be mindful that the trolley stops running at 4:30 pm.

So, for two people we paid 50 dollars for the on and off all day. Not too shabby. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. Ample amount of stops to get picked up around town. I would recommend this only if you think you’ll get sick of walking around town-we didn’t.

"Great location to visit just about everything in St Augustine"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We came across this location as we researched it prior to leaving the UK, after watching a great documentary on Channel 5 by Dale Winton on Florida and which featured St Augustine as the first location and probably the only city in Florida and US with a history dating back the 15th century of Ponce de Leon. We parked the car safely in the car park near this location and then proceeded to the booth to buy out tickets: - we chose the Fountain of youth package at 52.74 dollars per person including access to the above mentioned plus the Hop on hop off trolley (as we chose not to stop anywhere but to have a look at the town from the safety of this trolley), the Jail, the oldest store and History Museum (which was the most disappointing) which the Jail being made to appear the most interesting due to the staff there (check my review) - including the visits to all these locations as the oldest store, jail and History museum are located in the same location with only the Fountain of Youth being some 10min safe walk away and the trolley, be prepared to spend several hours - even for early April it was some 27 degree Celsius, so pretty warm, so make sure you have water with you as the whole town is a bit 'dusty' - all the people are very friendly and they give you the same info as displayed outside (included in my pics) - they also advise you on the times you should join the queues (as the store visit is the shortest), the museum can be done at any time and the Jail has only certain visits allowed per day (so plan this accordingly) - lots of groups of school children around, so try to avoid that if you cannot stand high pitched 'oh my G O D) shoutings - lots of info just about everywhere - this is just a small part of the town, properly beautiful buildings and 'the centre of the town' is located several miles south This is a great town, unlike anything else you will see in Florida, so make sure you allocated it at least 2 days to visit.

"Takes You Everywhere."

This trolley ride takes you to all of the highlights of St. Augustine, only downside is that you have to pay for every attraction you want to visit. Like the name states, "Trolley". It only gets you there, the rest is up to you. Drivers really highlight the stops and if you have the time, take the tour in its fullest and then go around again to visit. You'll get the idea when you see the map layout. The Fountain of Youth was great, you get a lot for your buck(s). Try it.
