I would recommend this for anyone visiting St Augustine for the first time

"Best Value of all for first time visitors to the city"

This was our first visit to St. Augustine and the Trolley tours made it possible for us to get an overall view of the city, learn a lot of history, and visit the attractions easily! Hop-on-hop-off busses and trolleys are always a great value. We purchased the three day pass - took the entire tour the first day to see what was available and then chose which places we wanted to visit on the subsequent days. The free shuttle to the beach doesn't actually go to the beach, but it took us to the Alligator Farm and the Lighthouse.

We were impressed with the Old Town Trolley tour of St. Augustine. The drivers were well informed and friendly. We especially loved the beach trolley that was included in the ticket price. We were picked up at our hotel on St. Augustine Beach and brought to one of the trolley stops in St. Augustine. One thing I didn't know is that the tickets are good for three days.

"just okay, very uncomfortable seats and hard to get on and off"

Coming off of other tours in various cities and being pleased (they were not this company), we were a bit disappointed in the Old Town Trolley tours in this city. First of all, we started with a great deal of pressure from the ticket sales person trying to get us to purchase add-on tourist sites. It was a bit much. We held our ground, however, and was able to get the tickets we wanted. We enjoyed the talk the driver gave; even though it was very scripted. However, the seats on the trolley are extremely uncomfortable. It is very bouncy and difficult. We do not have back problems, yet after 90 minutes on the trolley, experienced back spasms. The trolleys are also difficult to get on and off, especially if you are an older adult or a handicapped adult. When we tried to hop on later, it was crowded. A small group confused us because they got off and then immediately got back on, taking more room probably in an attempt to be comfortable. So we moved toward the front of the trolley to take two "separate" seats and the driver drove off! He wasn't willing to wait, I guess, even though we had been sitting there for 15 minutes waiting for the trolley. Not sure what he thought we were doing. Since we had very little time to get to where we needed to be, we couldn't wait for the next trolley. We walked. So, it wasn't a waste of money since we did hear the history of the area and see several things we wouldn't have if walking all day, but the overall experience was not very pleasant and quite uncomfortable and expensive. Once was enough. I doubt I would use this company again. Other choices we have made in other cities were much better, more comfortable and no pressure to buy, buy, buy tickets to tourist traps. One positive thing: they will pick you up at your hotel on the island and shuttle you back so you don't have to worry about parking.

We were very disappointed because when we bought our rockera they did not tell us the pets were not allowed in the trolley. Our Pet is no more than 6 pounds. We understand the policy..but there is no sign exposed about pets. We lost our chance to go in the trolley and in the ghost trip. Very sad
